Photography tip #3

Published on by Sindy Tamika

The Photography tip #3 is this: Don't be afraid of contrast!

Don't be afraid to dial up the contrast in some of your photos. And I'm not talking just about the editing part. Play with the lighting to create a dramatic effects. There are many cases when an extreme contrast can transform an average photo into a great photo.

When it come to edit your photos there are thousands of options out there. You can choose free or paid photo editing softwares and also free or paid courses. It's up to you to decide what work best for your needs.

Most of the photographers are retouching themselves their photos. But once your photography business grows, you won't have much time for post processing. So you will hire a photo retouching company to edit your photos.

Photography tip #2

Published on by Sindy Tamika

This is the second article in this mini photography series. Photography tip #2: shoot in raw format.

Most of the professional photographers are shooting in raw format and you should too. Raw format has a wider color range and better quality in general. You may wonder why not everyone is taking photos in raw format. Well, raw files must be post processed in order to be usable. You need to tweak colors, contrast and exposure. Another reason is because not all cameras can store the photos in raw format.

Taking photos directly in jpg format comes in handy when you want to make tests or in vacation.

Mahjong

Published on by Sindy Tamika

One of my favorite games is Mahjong Titans and I play it online. Playing online works for me because I can play for free on any computer connected to the internet. Plus, I don't have to download anything, the magic happens in the browser.

Although I've started playing mahjong many years ago, I still consider myself a casual player. There are many mahjong variations, one of my favorites is mahjong connect. This is actually a bit easier than other versions.

Video games

Published on by Sindy Tamika

Video games are a great way to spend time, relax and make new social connections. But everything in excess can also be dangerous. It's up to us if games make us smarter or lazier. Remember to take a break after every hour to allow your eye muscles to relax and regain tonus.

Here is a good collection with games for 2017.

If you are just starting with photography just practice on getting the right moment to capture that magic moment that you will remember for many years. On moment sooner or later and you lost an opportunity. The lighting must be right, the expression must be right, just focus on the small details that matters to you.

Photo editing history

Published on by Sindy Tamika

Here I've found a bit of history about photo editing and photo retouching. The article points out that retouching started pretty much at the same time with the invention of photography.

Photo retouching has much profound reasons than airbrushing or playing tricks with the photos. Have fun reading! Again, the article is here :)

Hey, I've found an interesting article about photo retouching services. It's like a guide into this mysterious world of photo editing. It's more like a guide for the photographers who are starting to outsource, but it's an interesting read for everyone.

Omega 3

Published on by Sindy Tamika

I've done some research today about omega 3 and found out that pills or fish oil pills can be avoided if you consume specific foods. It seems sardines and other fish have plenty of omega 3.

Omega 3 will make our bones stronger.
